Floyd Jasper, born in Beaumont,Tx, Nov.6,1948, is a long time musician. He started playing at age 13 and has worked with many top notch musicians over the years. He has a great love and respect for the music of Flatt & Scruggs. He is a very accomplished resonator guitar player and builder. He builds his resonator guitars just like he plays them {with a lot of heart and soul} and you don't have to strain your ears to hear them. He does a lot of workshops and he always leaves a great impression on the people who meet him, for his playing as well as his teaching skills.
